Tips for a strong bio
  • Open with who you are — your title, where you trained, and where you currently practise.
  • Mention years of experience and your specialist areas — neurodevelopmental conditions, adult/child ADHD, autism, comorbidities.
  • Highlight relevant training — ADOS-2, ADI-R, NICE NG87, independent prescribing, paediatric pathways, etc.
  • Describe your approach — what makes you approachable, your style with patients, your interest in the field.
  • Avoid jargon — write so a non-clinician can read it comfortably.
  • End with something personal but professional — outside interests, languages spoken, what drew you to this work.
  • Avoid overly casual phrasing — this is patient-facing and represents the Practice.
